Biography

Adrian Blanco was a Spanish friar of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy. He was a very humble and patient Mercedarian at the Convent of Our Lady of the Angels in El Puig. After becoming paralyzed, he remained bedridden for 30 years. He endured his suffering for the love of Christ and was called a new Job. He eventually died in the odor of sanctity. His feast day is commemorated on April 15.
