Biography

Adolphe Chatillon, in religion Brother Théophanius-Léo, born in Nicolet, Quebec, on October 31, 1871, and died on April 28, 1929, was a Canadian religious brother and educator. A member of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, he dedicated his life to the education of youth and the training of teachers. He served successively as a teacher, school principal, visitor, and then visitor general for North America. The cause for his beatification is underway.
