Acacius of Mount Ararat, also known as Acaste or Achaz (Latin: Achatius, Greek: Akakios), was a high-ranking Roman officer who was martyred and put to death under Antoninus Pius around 140 on Mount Ararat. He is a Christian saint and is counted among the Fourteen Holy Helpers. The martyrdom of Saint Acacius and his companions is commemorated on June 22.
